Nothing showing on monitor

You have indicated that the computer turns on but nothing shows on the monitor. First I suggest you try these steps

• Make sure the power light for the monitor is comes on. If it does not check that the monitor is getting power. If the monitor is securely plugged into the wall but the power light does not come on when you press the on button then you should try using a different monitor.
• Make sure the monitor is securely plugged into the computer.
• Some computers have two ports the monitor can be plugged into. Check to see if there is another port on your computer that works
